The Team
Bugatti Residences Miami Development Team
In a branded residence the brand is only one of several parties, and it is rarely the one that builds or operates the building. These are the announced participants and what each is actually responsible for.
Brand
Bugatti
Founded in Molsheim in 1909, Bugatti is the French marque behind some of the most technically ambitious automobiles ever built. Its residential work extends the same design discipline — Art, Forme, Technique — into architecture and hospitality. Miami is Bugatti's first branded residential development in the United States.
Co-developer
Prosper Group
Prosper Group is a co-developer of the Miami project, working alongside Versluys Group. The development partnership is responsible for site assembly, entitlement, delivery of the building and the eventual sales programme.
Co-developer
Versluys Group
Versluys Group is a Belgian development company and co-developer of Bugatti Residences Miami. European development partners frequently bring a different construction and specification culture to Miami projects, which is one of the details worth tracking as the offering documents are released.
Architecture
Brandon Haw Architecture
Brandon Haw Architecture is the design architect. The practice's work is characterised by legible structural expression and careful massing on constrained urban sites — relevant here, where a tall tower meets a working river edge with a narrow frontage.
Interior design
Yabu Pushelberg
Yabu Pushelberg leads interior design for the residences and shared spaces. The studio is best known for hospitality interiors where circulation, lighting and material transitions are treated as a sequence rather than a set of rooms. Specific materials and finishes for Miami have not been released.
Residential operations
Rhodium
Rhodium is the announced residential operating partner. Its remit covers the day-to-day service model: staffing, privacy protocols, personalised and butler-style service, and the hospitality standards that sit behind a branded residence's carrying costs.
Analysis
Why the division of roles matters
A buyer evaluating a branded residence is really evaluating three things: the developer's ability to finance and deliver, the design team's ability to make a tall tower on a narrow river parcel work in plan, and the operator's ability to sustain the service standard after the sales gallery closes. The brand licence sets the standard; it does not guarantee it.
The questions worth asking about each of these are set out in the buyer's guide, and the current status of each disclosure is tracked on the residences page.
